Four Filipino films will be shown at this year's Tokyo International Film Fest. Brillante Mendoza's 'Resbak' and Mikhail Red's 'Arisaka' made it to the 'Main Competition Category' while Mendoza's other film 'GenSan Punch' will be screened at the 'Gala Selection'.
The other film is called 'The Brokers.' It follows the story of a real estate agent who clashes with local residents over a land development project. The 'Brokers' is competing against 9 other foreign films in the 'Asian Future Section.' This is part of the film fest feature works of up-and-coming asian directors.
